Chronic Illness And Supportive Care

This assessment task involves the following steps:

1) Locate a person with a chronic illness who is willing to be interviewed (e.g. family member, significant other, family friend, colleague)

2) Explain the interview procedure and steps you will take to ensure their anonymity

3) Interview the person to determine the most significant psychosocial impacts of their illness

4) Investigate the psychosocial impact of the illness at national and/or global levels (using appropriate academic and medical sources

5) Based on the interview and your research write responses to the 4 Assignment Question discussion point

1)Based on the interview, what have been the most significant psychosocial  impacts  of their chronic illness for the person you interviewed?

2)Based on your research, what are the psychosocial impacts of this illness on society at the national and/or global level?

3)Describe one (1) nursing care strategy that could be used in providing care to your interviewee for their chronic illness and discuss how this strategy could be evaluated.

4) Based on the interview, outline the care partnerships in place for your interviewee and evaluate their effectiveness.
