Using Htun and Weldon’s argument as a basis for your analysis, deconstruct the position of key players in the abortion debate: the state, women’s movements, and anti-choice movement. In the New Zealand context, your essay will particularly describe the ongoing debate in Abortion Law Reform – what does it say about the current ideology of the state? This assignment is based entirely on secondary literature.
